| Ready? Set? Nope...Beautiful day
to fly the Skimmer for the first time...Buddy Bob of
boboz.us came with his
camera and sausage biscuit from McD's to document The first flight of my
beauty...I am ready to toss it at the top of our Mt. Shasta, climb out at
over 2000 feet per minute, shut down the electric motor, have the prop fold
back and quietly soar with the buzzards on the morning thermals...The
thermals were working, the buzzards were flying, the sausage biscuit was
gone and I was ready to go!!! Dead battery :-( oh-well ) "She" still is a pretty plane for another day... |
