One Fantastic Monday

This is the start of a great day...The dogs and

handlers were fantastic...I took several pictures

of the dogs and handlers in action but they don't

do the event justice...You had to see it to believe

it...My Alex watched with mild interest to say the

least, he was busy working and paying attention to

me like he is trained to do...SD's are GREAT!!!

^ The agility course^

This turned out to be one of the best Monday's on record for me...After what happened the day before yesterday with my Service Dog, this day was a breath of fresh air...Bob, aka bobo, and I headed to Oregon from 60 miles south of the border where we live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet... Bob graciously agreed to be part of this Service Dog journey and even donated the back seat of his beautiful Buick to Alex on this day... You gotta remember, Bob has never in his 66 years driven a car with 115 pounds of Doberman in the backseat...I must say both Bob and Alex were both very well behaved...Al only barked once the entire day and that was at a dog that was passing us in the back of a truck and Bob only "barked" a couple of times at other cars, in Bob's defense the passing cars were being driven by humans impersonating idiots... In defense of the human's impersonating idiots, they to were doing a great job...

Even though I am a "Dober-Man"

There are other beautiful dogs out

there...The one on the left was just

standing on the table, untethered,

being groomed for the show and

looking at Alex...They seemed to

be communicating telepathically...

The pooch on the right also

communicated...This communication

was way different, I've never heard

anything like it...It was a little spooky

but I caught it with my camera...

Just put your curser on the nose of

the guy on the right and you will see

what we heard...

^ " I wish I was a Service Dog"

^ Mouse over, he said...^

^ We also met these dangerous ladies... ^

DANGEROUS to your wallet that is...

it started with "how much is this collar?"

followed by, "you need a Doberman mouse pad?"

Then it was time for computer stuff, Circuit City was the place to be...

Alex and all the people we met were great, the picture on the right was

taken by Bob just after a group of people came through the isle, Alex,

even though a big 115 pounds ducked out of the way nicely, ya think???

Then it was time to eat, the big test for me because of the day before yesterday...Marie Callender's was as Great as the food...Between Bob, Alex and Myself I must say, I was the least well behaved one there, Boy-oh-Boy do those waitress flirt, thanks girls...

All these pictures were taken by bobo

and they are an accurate representation

of the experience, and yes, even the picture below demonstrates what  positive Service Dogg'in does to me...

The photo to the right is evidence that I

picked up the tab for lunch...

The Ride Home...

How exciting can that be...Well just look at the below pictures and relish in the contentment and beauty

demonstrated by the Al-ster... he is so patience...sometimes I find it hard to believe he tolerates me as

well as he does, IT MUST BE LOVE...
