Josephine County Fair

Grants Pass, Oregon

This day was a little on the long side, about 14 hours from bed back to bed...

The Jo-Co Fair was 2.5 hours north of us, (Alex & Me)...

2.5 + 2.5 = 5 hours That leaves about 8 hours to walk around the fair

waiting for the events to start and about one hour to get a little lost on the

way home...Alex the Service Dog did fantastic, I really don't know how or

why he puts up with me, the only thing that I can think of is that thing called

LOVE

< This is what the Service Dogger

sees as they try to participate in Life...

As it turned out this was the only

Enemy of the day...We met hundreds

of good people...We even met lots of

Doberman Lovers...

 The late afternoon     >

One Beautiful Day !!!

This guy was fantastic !!!

 This is "Washboard Willy"

If You have a chance to see him, do it...

This is the pied Piper of the 21st century

I'd like to tell you about him but you need

to see him in person, its worth it...

He sings, plays several instruments and

has people following him all around the fair

grounds...He has a web site & schedule...

Go To...Washboard Willy dot com

Be sure to read his bio, fantastic story!!!

^Alex & Myself pause for a Picture^

<  Alex poses with my new...

"Service Deer"

This is exactly what I needed...

YA THINK ???

^ Or maybe the 'ol Service Puppet^

^   This is just a small sample of what Alex gets from the people that meet him in public  ^

^ It got just a tad crowded at the top ^ ^ Big Monster Hummer, Alex is on the back tire ^

^ This was the view we had ^

^ Alex Just being Patient, as always ^

This is before the crowd got there

Excitement??? Alex is bigger, faster and stronger...

Also more Cuddly...

^ This police officer was working his dog ^

way out in the field, my camera was at ten power

yet Alex was watching (without binoculars) this dog attack

the guy in the bite suit with great interest...

We saw them later and closer

Alex minded his manners and didn't make

a sound, You could tell that he was watching though...

Below are some thumb nails of the monster trucks and flying

motorcycles...You can click on them and get the "bigger picture"

^ Alex led the way out off leash ^

It was easier and safer that way...

He knew where to go and keep looking

back for me and I would just point...

We pasted a deputy at the bottom...

No Problem :-)
