We Made it...Past the no dogs sign meeting friendly and curious people on the way where we started the job of Service Dog and Doberman Ambassador...Its a tough job but someone's got to do it...8 years ago I had to "retire" from the best job on earth after I thumped in from 400 feet during a flight instruction lesson, I didn't know there was an even better job out there until I was "Forced" into it... |

Notice the young one appearing apprehensive because of either the Big 'ol Dobe or maybe the nut with a camera... What ever it was he seemed the enjoy the situation a lot more when he took Alex For a short walk...I let several kids "walk" Alex, the comment heard most often was... "WOW!!! COOL!!!" What they Didn't know is that Alex was really with me. They thought they were Taking a big Doberman for a walk but those of you that know of a Dobes Dedication and Loyalty will understand that my Alex will not perform for just Anybody...I am proud to say that Alex will not even go with the "Worlds best dog trainer" I am His ~ end of story!!! What the kids don't know won't hurt them, they got to "handle" a Doberman... And They were Successful !!! In addition they learned about what kinds of things Service Dogs do... Access Problems for Service Dogs will end when these persons grow and join The Working World... |

This pictorial shows the manners of a 115 pound eating machine... It was funny, after I finished I was approached by several people that commented on Al's manners saying that they wished their dog Behaved that well, Thank-You folks ~ patience and persistence, that's all... |

This was the only "ride" I went on...It was more of a training session for Al, seeing and experiencing different things... And that He Did!!! Spinney things, slider things, moving things, reflecting things, dead ends etc... He handled everything with the patience of Jobe and then some...
